The Spark (2022)
NIRI's story begins in a typical urban Indian residential society, where water scarcity had become a daily reality. Like countless other communities, the dependency on water tankers, unpredictable supply, and the constant struggle to manage this precious resource highlighted a pressing need for change.
What started as a response to a local challenge soon revealed a universal truth: the need for smart, accessible water management isn't just a luxury—it's a necessity for our future.
The solution took shape through RTMA (Real-Time Monitoring and Action), where technology and social impact converged. The vision was clear: create a solution that transforms awareness into action, making water conservation practical, affordable, and immediate.
Evolution Through Innovation
NIRI's development followed an intensive journey of iteration and improvement, each version bringing us closer to the perfect balance of functionality and simplicity.
First Generation
The foundation was laid with basic monitoring capabilities: an Arduino-based system with flow sensing and LCD display. Simple but groundbreaking in its purpose.
Second Generation
Control mechanisms were introduced through solenoid valve integration, marking the first step from passive monitoring to active management.
Third Generation
Intelligence entered the equation with a sophisticated interface, preset modes, and the ability to not just monitor but regulate water flow based on usage patterns.
Fourth Generation
Refinement in design and functionality brought new features: Eco Mode, Vacation Mode, and breakthrough leak detection capabilities in a sleek, integrated package.

Today's NIRI is a testament to the power of purposeful innovation. Named after "Neeru" (meaning water in Kannada), it embodies the fusion of traditional wisdom with cutting-edge technology.
